Swedish massage

Swedish massage is a classic, full-body treatment that’s all about relaxation. Using smooth, flowing strokes, gentle kneading, and light tapping or vibrations, it works on the surface muscles to help ease everyday tension and boost circulation. This calming style also supports lymphatic flow, reduces stress, and can even help improve sleep and lower anxiety levels.

It’s perfect for anyone new to massage or simply looking to unwind. The pressure and focus can be tailored to your needs, making it a flexible and soothing option.

Deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique that targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It uses slow, firm pressure and focused strokes to release chronic tension, break down adhesions (knots), and improve mobility. Ideal for those with persistent pain, muscle stiffness, or past injuries, it helps reduce inflammation, restore range of motion, and promote faster recovery.

Unlike relaxing massages, deep tissue work can feel intense but is highly effective. It’s perfect for active individuals, those with physical strain, or anyone needing more than just surface-level relief. The result is lasting relief and a stronger, more balanced body.

Remedial massage

Remedial massage is a targeted, therapeutic treatment designed to assess and treat specific muscle issues, injuries, or postural imbalances. It uses a combination of techniques, such as deep pressure, stretching, and trigger point therapy, to address pain, improve function, and support the body’s healing process. This massage is ideal for those with chronic pain, sports injuries, tension from repetitive movements, or conditions like sciatica or frozen shoulder.

Each session is tailored to your individual needs, often guided by an assessment and may include a treatment plan. Recognised by health funds, remedial massage not only brings relief but also supports long-term recovery and muscular balance. It’s a results-driven approach to feeling and moving better every day.

Jaw and TMJ therapy
This treatment focuses on easing tension and restoring comfortable movement in the jaw by working on the muscles surrounding the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Posture, stress, and clenching can all build tightness in the jaw and face, leading to pain, clicking, restricted opening, and headaches.

During the session, we use soft-tissue techniques (no intra-oral work), paired with targeted neck and shoulder releases and direct work around the jaw muscles to reduce tightness, boost circulation, and support better jaw function.

Harmony acupressure massage

Acupressure massage is a healing technique rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses firm finger or elbow pressure on specific points along the body’s energy pathways, known as meridians. These points correspond to internal organs and systems, helping to balance energy flow (Qi), relieve pain, reduce stress, and promote natural healing.

Unlike other massages, it doesn’t rely on oils or gliding strokes, instead, it focuses on holding or pressing key points to release tension and restore harmony. Ideal for headaches, fatigue, muscle stiffness, and stress-related issues, acupressure is both deeply therapeutic and naturally energizing, supporting the body’s ability to heal itself.

Reflexology massage

Reflexology massage is a restorative therapy based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems within the body. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex zones, it helps stimulate circulation, release tension, and promote the body’s natural balance and healing.

Each session begins with a soothing herbal foot spa, using warm water infused with natural herbs to relax the feet, soften the skin, and enhance overall relaxation. This sets the stage for a focused foot massage that not only feels amazing but also supports whole-body wellness.

Reflexology is ideal for those experiencing fatigue, stress, poor sleep, or digestive issues. It’s a calming yet powerful treatment that nurtures the body from the ground up—leaving you refreshed, rebalanced, and deeply relaxed.

Head, neck, and shoulder massage with reflexology
is a revitalizing treatment that focuses on releasing built-up tension in some of the most commonly stressed areas of the body. Using a combination of firm pressure, soothing strokes, and targeted techniques, it helps ease headaches, neck stiffness, shoulder tightness, and mental fatigue.

The experience is enhanced by reflexology on the feet, where pressure is applied to specific points that correspond to internal organs and energy systems. This dual approach promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and restores balance from head to toe. Perfect for anyone dealing with stress, screen fatigue, or postural strain, this treatment offers both immediate relief and a deep sense of renewal, leaving you lighter, clearer, and fully recharged.

Specialty therapies

This treatment begins with gentle cleansing and makeup removal to prepare the skin. It combines hands-on facial massage with traditional gua sha techniques across the face and décolletage to support relaxation, circulation, and natural facial sculpting.

Lymphatic drainage techniques are incorporated to help reduce puffiness and support healthy fluid movement, particularly around the jawline, cheeks, eye area, neck, and upper chest.

Facial gua sha may assist with relieving facial and jaw tension, improving skin vitality, and promoting a refreshed, lifted appearance. Some clients notice immediate relaxation and reduced puffiness after one session, while more visible sculpting and toning effects are typically seen with regular treatments over several sessions.

Facial gua sha is not recommended for active skin infections, open wounds, inflamed acne, recent cosmetic injectables, recent facial surgery and severe rosacea.

This massage is designed to help you feel supported, comfortable, and relaxed throughout your pregnancy. It is intended for low-risk pregnancies; if your pregnancy is considered high-risk, medical clearance from your healthcare provider is required before booking. Before your session, you’ll be asked to complete a pregnancy massage consent form so your treatment can be safely tailored to you. Your positioning and the pressure used will be adjusted depending on your trimester and any specific concerns.

In the first trimester, the focus is on gentle relaxation and easing fatigue. In the second trimester, the massage supports areas under new strain, such as your lower back, hips, shoulders, and legs. In the third trimester, techniques continue to ease tension, reduce swelling, and support your comfort. Firmer pressure can be used on areas of chronic tension if it is safe and comfortable for you. Professional draping and support pillows are used so you can relax safely, and gentle techniques help improve circulation, relieve tension, and leave you feeling lighter and more at ease.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialised hands-on technique that supports the body’s natural lymphatic flow. Using slow, light, rhythmic movements, the treatment encourages fluid movement, helping to reduce puffiness and promote a feeling of lightness and relaxation.MLD works with the superficial lymphatic system rather than muscles, and does not use deep pressure. Techniques are always gentle and adapted to your comfort.

To get the most benefit from the treatment, please wear comfortable, loose-fitting underwear rather than tight garments, so that lymph flow to the main lymph nodes is not restricted. Manual Lymphatic Drainage may not be suitable if you have acute infections, blood clots, untreated cancer, or certain heart or kidney conditions.

Traditional therapies

Fire-cupping

Fire cupping massage is a traditional therapy that uses heated glass cups placed on the skin to create suction. This gentle pulling action helps boost circulation, release deep muscle tension, and draw out toxins—supporting overall recovery. The addition of myofascial release targets the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles) enhancing flexibility and reducing pain. Together, these therapies provide a comprehensive treatment for muscle stiffness, chronic pain, and restricted movement.

Often combined with massage techniques, fire cupping targets areas of tightness, stagnation, or chronic pain. The warmth and suction work to improve blood flow, promote lymphatic drainage, and stimulate the body’s natural healing response. It’s especially beneficial for muscle stiffness, fatigue, stress, and respiratory concerns. While it may leave temporary marks, the results are deeply therapeutic—offering lasting relief.

Additional services

Gua-sha (body)

Gua-sha is a traditional technique that uses a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape the skin, helping to boost circulation, release muscle tension, and support detoxification.

By working along muscle lines and energy pathways, it helps relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and ease stress-related tightness, especially in the neck and shoulders.Though it may leave temporary redness, the treatment offers deep relief and a renewed sense of balance and vitality.

Herbal ball compresses

Herbal ball compress is a soothing treatment that uses warm, fragrant herbal-filled cloth balls gently pressed and rolled over the body. This technique helps relax muscles, ease tension, and improve circulation while delivering the healing benefits of traditional herbs.

The warmth and herbal properties work together to reduce inflammation, relieve stiffness, and promote deep relaxation. It’s especially effective for muscle soreness, stress, and improving overall wellbeing.
Gentle yet deeply calming, herbal ball compresses nurture the body and senses, leaving you refreshed, relaxed, and restored.

Hot stone massage Launceston TAS
Hot stone

Hot stone is a deeply relaxing treatment that uses smooth, heated stones placed on key points of the body and combined with soothing massage techniques. The warmth from the stones helps melt away muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote a profound sense of calm.
